Taken from a window in the corridor outside my apartment. The sunset in London tonight was awesome. I was up at Alexandra Palace on Monday night, hoping to get a shot like this but didn't hang around late enough to get the red sunset. Little did I know I'd get something just as good from my apartment.
Alexandra Palace ("Ally Pally") was the first home of television in the UK, occupied by the BBC many years ago. Now it's used for events, gigs and even has an ice rink. The surrounding gardens are an idyllic escape from the bustle of central/North London just at the bottom of the hill.
There is a little bit of haze among the trees at the bottom so I'll have to take a look at that in post to get rid of it.
