By the Stour at Throop - whichever way I turned, this robin fluttered to place itself directly in my way, not at all shy, posing on the frozen ground, in the snowy bushes, on the branches, no doubt desperate for a few crumbs, or whatever else I had to offer - anything except a modelling contract!
