Red Kite (Milvus milvus) in flight.

One of at least 200 Kites which gathered at the Red Kite Feeding Station at Gigrin Farm, Rhayader, Powys, Mid Wales on a frosty December afternoon.

The male Red Kite has a wingspan of 5 and a half feet, the female is slightly smaller.
