(RonPaul.gif) Yes, it's happening.

The color balance and contrast issues involved in making C prints or Cibachromes from night shots is formidable; in 1995, when for OK Harris show, I had Duggal drum scan, Photoshop, and IRIS print everything. It cost a fortune, but the results were better than anything achievable via "wet" darkroom.

Thanks to Moore's law, you don't need a $100,000 IRIS printer or a SCITEK drum scanner anymore; the Epson R2000 and the Nikon D600/Fuji X Pro do just fine.

For first time what's hanging on the wall looks EXACTLY the way I wanted it to. (Which means ... no excuses, either).

Ridgewood is a 45 minute train ride from NY Penn Station; if you're coming from Europe, you can buy a new wardrobe (or some camera equipment) and what you save thanks to the stronger EURO and no VAT will almost pay for your trip. Of course my ultra-luxurious basement is available for crashpad purposes.

If you can't make this show, don't sweat it; I'll be looking for other venues. This is just the (new) beginning.

Thank you all. Your support means the world to me.

Also, shout-out to MotoPhoto in Paramus. They noticed the font size for "Ridgewood" was off, and fixed it before they printed it. If you shoot film and live in North Jersey, or want to make prints, these guys should be your go-to.
