Monochrome Girl
Curly and long-haired, Chrissy flashes a smile while in her favorite environment--southwestern Florida!
For the techies, here's how the image was created. Silver Efex Pro (one of the Photoshop/Lightroom plugins in the Google Nik Collection) rendered a truly monochrome version (unfortunately, Google has decided not to support it any longer, which is very disappointing). I then used a gradient filter on the left edge (because it was distractingly bright) by following jedingtonmcc's instructions at youtube.com/watch?v=G56Qwaes0_0. The high contrast and details in Chrissy's hair were created using Calvin's technique (he calls it "freaky details") shown on youtube.com/watch?v=vr12ZfPK2co. A subtle amount of dodging and burning was also applied to her face.
