Super Marine Spitfire T. Mk IX NH341 (Elizabeth)
My friend John Flower had booked a flight in a Spitfire at Headcorn Aerodrome, Ashford Kent today.
Sadly on the third flight of the day the aircraft suffered an hydraulic leak on the suspension leg on landing.
John was bitterly disappointed as he had been looking forward to his boyhood dream immensely, I will accompany and photograph him when the adventure is rescheduled in the near future.
Fortunately I managed to capture a few shots of one of the earlier flights, the moody sky certainly added to the ambience.
