Week 5

Well, it's official. The owlets are fledglings. The two owlets that I've covered for 5 weeks have flown the coup.

 

This morning, the owlets and the parent were in the tree, but seperated and on the tree top.

 

This afternoon, Nan and I searched and searched but to no avail. None were in the tree. Maybe nearby, but gone from the nesting tree.

 

I hope to see them again someday.
