Feeling Reflective Ver 2
River Exe, Countess Wear, Exeter, Devon.
A slight crop to the previous image, bringing the main rock closer to the left edge of the frame and removing two smaller rocks in the background.
It seems to lose a sense of scale like this, not sure if that is good or bad ???
I also felt that the small rocks in the background helped to draw the eye into the image, but now I'm not so sure?
I think the effect of the reflected clouds still works, though it may look a bit more like moving water now.
The original image is shown below, I would be interested to hear others thoughts.
Taken with a Shade #8 welding glass (approx 10 stops) for a 45 second exposure at f22.
