Hosta

When I got my Leica, I shot everything. Everything. I shot vegetables at the supermarket. One from that grab bag was a hosta above a rock, and the profound beauty of those leaves, their patterns and textures, really grabbed me. I've been shooting hostas ever since, both those I've grown and those in parks or yards.
