Portland has come to be equated with quirky. We do have our share of quirk, but Portland's also a place of great beauty and a wide variety of building styles, gardens, neighborhoods, and memorable locations, partly because it's one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest. It's also one of the oddest.
