Dorothy and Her Entourage Pose for a Photograph - September 20, 2014
My sweet, eight year old granddaughter, Nina Stevens, is starring as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz! Donna and I flew to Maine for an all too short weekend in order to see her starring performance. We took it in, twice! The play is being held at The Footlights in Falmouth. The Director, Michael J. Tobin, fell in love with Nina at her audition and casted her immediately. The Footlights is an intimate theatre. Not a bad seat in the house. If you live nearby, the production continues next Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
From left to right, the other cast members are: Jackie Oliveri, Rick Kusturin, Joe McGrann, Jim Gaddis and Susan Quinn Seavey. They all performed wonderfully. Michael Tobin's adaptation is spot on. We were thoroughly entertained. Of course I'm not prejudiced or anything! That's MY granddaughter!!! Am I
