SWANAGE RAILWAY DIESEL GALA 2012

The non arrival of half of the visiting locos forced the re-write of the gala timetable from day one. The "locals," and guests that had already arrived, pulled out all the stops to ensure that the show went on. Even the "steam boys" fired up a BR Class 4 No. 80104 to make up the numbers for the replacement timetable. They even joined in the spirit of the event by adding a prefix "D" to their loco's number!! My visit was on Friday 11th May 2012.
