APPENZELLER BAHNEN - SWITZERLAND - SEPTEMBER 2011.

Collection number 1 of the photos taken during my 60th birthday / holiday features one of the popular regional railways of Switzerland. This area to the south-east of the country known as Appelzellerland, features local means of travelling between the towns / villages and the mountains and cable car stations that dot the landscape. The Appenzeller Bahn lines radiate from St. Gallen and gossau SG through Guis, Appenzell, Wasserauen & Altstatten.
