MID NORFOLK RAILWAY DIESEL DRAGS EVENT on SATURDAY 14 / 05 / 11.

Another excellent gala at the MNR. I visited on the first day, Saturday 14th May 2011; the same day that UK Railtours, in conjunction with East Midlands Trains ran a charity railtour to Dereham from London St. Pancras International. The railtour charity donations were for the Railway Children, and the EMT HST that was used included the power car 43082, The Railway Children. The other power car was 43075.

For me, the main event featured the resident MNR Class 50, 50019 Ramilies who had the honour of dragging the HST from Wymondham Abbey to Dereham as part of this charity gala. A wonderous sight. A video of that drag is available on my YouTube channel.
