There are two kinds of bats/flying foxes on exhibit on the Maharajah Jungle Trek: Rodrigues Fruit Bats and Malayan Flying Foxes. These two species were chosen because, unlike many bat species, they are primarliy diurnal (active during the day). I believe this is a Rodrigues partking of the veggies hung from the ropes.
