This Massey Award-winning structure was designed by architectural firm John B. Parkin & Associates and built in 1966.
Update: January 2010: Ottawa Train Station will be featured as a key location in Moon director (and David Bowie's son) Duncan Jones' upcoming sci-fi thriller Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The movie will mostly be filmed in Montreal (presumably using the immense soundstages at Mel's Cité du Cinema) but Ottawa Train Station was chosen to star as the train station in the film due to its still-futuristic look.
