Super Bizarro Hybrid Esso Station.
An Esso station with a Quickie convenience store instead of an "On the Run"/"Marché Express". That's not unusual in and of itself... the unusual part is what it also has: a McDonald's drive-thru. What manner of chimera hath I photographed?
I passed by this unusual hybrid location once on my birthday (October 2nd) in 2002, when I went on a day trip to suburban Ottawa from Pincourt, Quebec (where I lived at the time) to have a birthday dinner with my sister at Red Lobster, but, since moving to Ottawa in 2004, the exact location has eluded me until my mother turned the wrong way on Hunt Club after dropping my brother off at the airport. It's a couple of blocks east of Bank Street.
