The "new" Merivale Road McDonald's: NOW OPEN.
After three-and-a-half months of demolition and reconstruction, the rebuilt Merivale Road McDonald's is finally open.
I still miss the classic-style McDonald's architecture, but one obvious improvement is that the drive-thru lane doesn't stretch all of the way around the restaurant, so the sides of the restaurant facing Merivale Road and Family Brown Lane are no longer caged in by pavement and I presume they'll be landscaped, unless the bare piles of dirt are some sort of avant-garde movement within the landscaping industry that I'm not hip to.
