The newly-renovated Hog's Back Plaza McDonald's.
This McDonald's, in the Hog's Back Plaza strip mall at the corner of Meadowlands Drive and Prince of Wales Drive in the Rideau View area of Ottawa (the area that is west of the Rideau Canal and River but east of Fisher Avenue which is technically the eastern border of Nepean), recently got a facelift, incorporating the new flattened arch (that looks suspiciously like a frown).
This McDonald's is the most out-of-the-way McDonald's I know of in the Ottawa area, not being that close to much of anything besides a couple of large apartment buildings and some low-rise government office buildings. It's located in the sort of plaza that would usually attract, at best, a Subway sandwiches shop. I suppose it's semi-handy for Carleton University students, but that's still quite a troddle away. especially in winter.
