There is a certain fascination about water that holds most of us mesmerised at some point or another. In my pic, the water looks like it has no strength, no substance, no power, only fragility, delicateness and tiny droplets that seemingly disappear in an instant. But we all know that water has another side to it...

 

Some people are like this to me. When life flows along gently, there is no apparent inner strength or courage visible. It takes difficulties and tragedies for that side of them to show itself. That is when the true inner person shines and rallies those around, holds families and friends together, putting others first before their own feelings and yet during it all, never drawing attention to themselves, they just kind of quietly 'get on with it'.

 

Those are life's champions.
