December 3rd 2008 - A Bright Light and the Salt of the Earth

Today I shot a video project for a local agency and got fed a good meal in the process. It was pretty cool cause the speaker was talking about technologies ranging from texting to Twitter and in during the course of his speech he mentioned my blog and how cool it was that sometimes I would do work for them that I might post here and how your (yes you guys... you know who you are ;-)) comments would be there before he got to see it and thus giving him immediate feedback about the photo. Afterward I had a few people coming up to me asking for my info. Nice.

After that I headed back to the office to capture the footage... yadda.

About this photo... like my last photo it's kind of personal, but the basics are that I'm trying to help someone in need and while it's a tough decision on just how much I can or should get involved, I'm doing my best to make my involvement count... and hopefully not get burned in the process. So there's that.

Strobist info: A single 100watt lightbulb at a foot or so away... I mean... if you have any questions... just look at the shot ;-). I know this is not a speedflash or a strobe, but it is off camera lighting after all.

By the way, I know I'm behind on my 365 photos. I did shoot some though, but I've been busy with life. I'll get some more posted soon.
