Bethesda Maryland, April 21 2022. Around forty peace activists associated with Code Pink, World Beyond War, Veterans For Peace, Democratic Socialists Of America, Peace Action and other groups gathered outside of Lockheed Martin's Bethesda HQ to protest the company's deadly worldwide weapons business. The activists delivered a petition with thousands of signatures imploring Lockheed Martin to convert from weapons manufacture to peaceful industries. The activists finished up their protest by marching a short distance to the I270 overpass where they displayed their banners and signs to passing motorists, many of whom honked in agreement.
