The original and best of the Forth Bridges this is the railway crossing opened in 1890 by the Prince of Wales (Edward VII).

It was once the longest single-span cantilever bridge in the world, though now pushed into 2nd place by one in Quebec.

It is now classed as a Unesco World Heritage Site and is probably one of the most iconic structures in Scotland.
