EastVan Brewing Unholy One
Nitro stout 6.3% abv
New to me. Contains Marris Otter, Crystal and Black Malts; Roast Barley; Malted Rye; East Kent Golding and Willamette Hops.
Given all of that I am a bit disappointed. There is very little flavour for an Extra Stout and the promised head from the nitrogen did not last more than a couple of minutes. I am glad I can actually find an extra stout at this time of year but I cannot say that, if I had greater choices, this would be my first pick. I also wonder if the fridges were actually working at the private liquor store I went to. Colder would have been a distinct improvement!
