George 194-
My uncle. Pilot Officer Charles George Johnson in the very early part of the war, I imagine when he was awarded his wings. He flew two complete tours of duty in Mosquitoes - where the survival rate of pilots was not high - and then went to Canada under the Commonwealth Training Program to train more pilots. After the war he became the publisher of the Langley Advance.
