As I have mentioned before, this is a depot. The museum is in restauration. There are so many paintings in the depot it is amazing!
Het Depot van Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen is het eerste publiek toegankelijke kunstdepot ter wereld. Het Depot staat naast Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Museumpark in Rotterdam. Bezoekers zien het resultaat van 175 jaar verzamelen. Meer dan 155.000 verzamelde kunstwerken opgeslagen bij elkaar, gerangschikt en gestructureerd in veertien depotruimten met vijf klimaten. Naast de objecten zijn alle werkzaamheden die komen kijken bij het beheer en onderhoud van een collectie te zien.

Visitors see the result of 175 years of collecting. More than 155,000 collected works of art stored together, arranged and structured in fourteen depot spaces with five climates. In addition to the objects, all the activities involved in the management and maintenance of a collection can be seen.
