Mist over Rotterdam

 

Not many times it happens that I get a view like this, I guess once or twice a year. And then there is the problem of the dirty windows. Finally, today, after such a long time, I managed to get the picture I wanted. The silence in the mist high above Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Noise removal has been used, not only for the noise, but also to enchant the atmosphere a photographer feels when working with the fog. Don't ever use to much though, there is a little flaw in the right side of this picture, but better that then to overdo it..

Also I'd like to point out that we do not always need the most expensive equipment to take a picture like this, it has been taken with a simple point and shoot camera, so, beginners, don't let the high prices of expensive stuff get you down on taking on you're hobby and interest in photography!
