Alpe di Siusi magic
The Seiser Alm does Seiser Alm things. We spent the early evening at this viewpoint as the sun set. It seemed as if the sun was disappearing rather unspectacularly far above the horizon behind the thick cloud cover. With a few decent photos in the bag, we looked for a picnic spot where we could end the day with focaccia and South Tyrolean bacon.
And suddenly, there it was, that Seiser Alm moment. In the last light, Langkofel (Sasso Lungo) and Plattkofel (Sasso Piatto) began to glow in a rich orange. What a sight!
