Quite a few people have been getting new cameras and asking for tips lately. I tell most of them pretty much the same thing and it struck me that a flow chart might be a good way of representing the info. I also did the 'How a Camera Works' sheet to demystify what those flashy, button encrusted gadgets really are. It's by no means gospel, or the only way to do it - but it is an easy way to wean yourself off the full-auto modes and get started with some proper photography. Let me know if it proves useful...
