CP 8904 West, a loaded export coal train, could be heard for over ten minutes as it battled its way under Rogers Pass through Mount Macdonald Tunnel. Finally here just east of Ross Peak, the train exits the west portal and begins the descent towards Revelstoke on a brilliant early summer afternoon.
