Mother

Incredible sight to capture. While stopping at one of the many scenic overlooks, we spotted this mother hen sitting literally in the middle of the road covering her newly hatched chicks. I was glad to see how everyone else who stopped to look at her treat her and her young with respect and doing their best to make sure she was safe.
