Martin Steele.
Refreshed
So, where do I start? It's been a while, but i'm going to try and start posting regularly, and commenting on photos on here again. I've had my reasons for not being as active of late, but hopefully the past is now the past, and I should be back.
So what's changed? Everything was getting too serious, to the point where i'd almost lost my passion for what I was doing, as I was starting to feel like I was expected to post something, which in turn made everything feel like a chore, so i've taken time out of everything besides my Facebook page, and now i'm feeling happy, motivated and refreshed again.
I've also upgraded all my kit bag, so that's got me excited about my photography again too, as the 450d really was holding me back in certain circumstances.
The main thing is, i've now found my passion for my hobby again, and it's just superb getting out there, for myself, and if others like my work, then happy days, if they don't, then so be it.
I'm back, i'm happy, and it's time to get back into viewing and commenting on my Flickr friends photos.
Anyhow, a little about the image....
This was taken last sunday, using the new camera in anger for only the second time (the first time was sunrise the day before) and i'm amazed. This was taken using no filters at all, just me controlling the camera, and the cameras dynamic range showing me just how good it really is.
It's understandable this little lighthouse at the far end of Bamburgh beach often gets overlooked, when the castle is just along the way, but at the right time of year, and with the right tide, it makes for a lovely sunset photo.
EXIF still over there>>>>> I hope lol
