Decapitation Strike - reworked
A Hobby (Falco subbuteo), which missed catching a Four-spotted Chaser dragonfly (Libellula quadrimaculata), but which knocked off the poor dragonfly's head (that's the object you see just behind the Hobby.
I took this photo back in 2016 and posted it to Flickr at the time. Unfortunately, the upper part of the furthest wing was going out of the frame. So I decided to reconstruct the top of the wing with cloning, and then add some canvas to make more space around the Hobby.
Usually I avoid any photo manipulation, and any adding or taking away bits in the image. Here the whole image is as taken except all that directly above the wing tip nearest to the camera. I don't know what others think of the choice. I will link to the original image below.
