The big cylinder on the left has a bushing in its center that the threaded shaft can use as an outboard support. With the turbine gearbox for speed reduction and with the footpedal speed control I can get rotation rates from maybe one to ten rotations per second. When the big cylinder is removed there's room for bobbin and threaded mandrel to pass thru the oversized cylinder hole.
