Sunset Cliffs
A few weeks ago Spencer Pablo hit me up to see if I wanted to catch the sunset. I’ve been so busy with other aspects of life and capturing portraiture that I hadn’t been out to shoot any landscape work in quite some time. So I happily obliged and met him at this cliff side in San Diego. It had been so long that I have to admit that I felt a little off and switching to the mindset of capturing a landscape was a bit foreign for a few minutes while I fumbled with getting my gear set up and getting a comp that I felt captured the elements that caught my eye. Meanwhile Spencer was multi-tasking with his camera on a tripod while navigating his drone overhead capturing some images with his eagle in the sky (go check out his work @spencerpablophotography ) anyway, before I knew it his drone was hovering next to me as it was coming in for a landing. We had a great chat over some good Mexican food about family, life, work, and a bit of photography, thanks for that.
