Flooded

I realize most of you will think I am nuts for going back to this same UFO landing pad (trust me, me too!). When I saw the area was flooded, I had to go out for a look.

On this day, Salt Lake City set a new daily precipitation record with 0.8 inches (2.032 cm)of rain. Remember, most of Utah is a desert, so this amount of rain in one day was significant.

This area of salt is very flat, and the water was paper-thin but just enough for reflections. You can also see where the aliens collected the rocks and moved them into position to mark a safe landing for their spaceship.

Also, note the shades of green - this is seasonal. Most of the year, its yellow. So the green is another bonus.

The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the shot.

No more plans to shoot here unless a Christmas tree magically appears!
