Maroon Bells
One of the most photographed locations on earth – this is just outside of Aspen, Colorado and managed by the US Forest Service.
Cars are restricted 8AM-5PM and you must park offsite at a paid lot and then buy a bus ticket. During peak fall season, it’s really busy.
I arrived at 4AM before the restrictions and had a front row spot :-) As this was my first time there I had zero idea where to go or setup. “Fortunately,” there were at least 50 other photographers and I followed the heard and found a good spot.
