Theme for week 6 - Seven Deadly Sins: Greed

 

Yes, all you astute flickrites, I am skipping over the week 5 theme because it is driving me insane :)

 

Anyway, there is a crazy long story behind this photo but in short it is about a fairy who is forever rooted to the earth unless she can gather enough human souls to free herself. I wanted to portray greed in a different way then typically portrayed - I wanted to show you the reason behind her greed.

 

This literally took me 6 hours non top to edit - its the most I've edited a photo EVER!!!

 

The enitre rooted to the ground concept was inspired by Gilly and this amazing photo :)
