The Artist's Pallette

I was in Hood River evening of June 9, when looking up I saw a lenticular stack forming to the east roughly of Mt. Hood, so instead of going into the store I headed up Highway 35 looking for a place I could shoot this from.... went off on a couple side roads and finally had to just stop by an orchard and SHOOT the darn thing before it disappeared! Most of the stack stayed hidden behind a bunch of gray stuff, but the bottom kept peeking out and blushing...

this was worth getting off my waterfall perch for! (now I am gonna run back over there to breathe deep some more)
