Spring Break Trip - Europe '16
by STAC_edu
Students got a first-hand look at the bodies and organizations that direct today’s globalized world during our trip to London, Amsterdam and Brussels. The group saw where things go quiet inside EU headquarters in bustling Brussels. They also heard from experts at The Hague’s international courts, where some of humanity’s worst offenders have stood trial. We explored the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. Students took a guided tour of London that included: Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace and a ride on the London Eye. Lastly they went on a guided tour of the British Library and saw an original Magna Carta. It was an amazing cultural and educational experience, and one we will never forget!
