Self-Care - Bobcats like all felids are very meticulous groomers. Grooming helps them spread oils on their fur which improve the integrity and water resistance of their fur. Additionally, grooming helps cats remove dirt, parasites and other irritants from their coats.
Proper grooming is a sign of a healthy, content cat and cats may spend up to half their time that they are awake maintaining their coats.
