Photos taken at the Detroit, MI stop of the Red Bull Air Race world series on June 1st, 2008. Qualifying on the previous day was canceled due to high gusting winds; however, the weather was beautiful on the day of the finals. Despite the fastest time being set by the brit Paul Bonhomme in the semi-finals, the winner was american Kirby Chambliss. Altogether it was an amazing day of motorsports over the Detroit river and everyone in the area should support Red Bull in bringing this stop back for next year's series.
