Chase Tower 1
Although in this photo it looks like an optical illusion, the sides of the Chase Tower in Chicago are actually semi-parabolic curves. This allowed the architects to offer more space at ground level for commercial use, while adding prestige to the harder to sell residential spaces on the upper floors. As with many of the buildings in chicago, the tower is tall enough to rise into the clouds on a misty day.
