The Sage of Shadowdale
NikonD50 Self Portrait (at different apertures)
I was messing around some time ago with the D50 mounted on a tripod in front of the mirror, as you do, and decided to take a few shots of the D50 itself at different aperture settings. I ended up with 6 shots that were kind of interesting together but pretty boring on their own.
So they sat in a directory on my notebook for a few months.
Until today, when I stumbled across Dipstych, a free .NET app for creating n-tychs (found a reference to it on a shot in sillykitty's, who's currently having an identity crisis, photostream). So I thought I'd try it out. After throwing a few shots at it and seeing the results I remembered this series of Nikon "self portraits" and thought DipStych would do the trick.
So here it is. (Not great, but better large or, if you have the bandwidth, the original size.)
