Australia Rock, Wagonga Head (Narooma) - predawn
Believe it or not the sea was very rough this morning - further north in Sydney all the beaches were closed around this time due to dangerous seas. Just out of frame on the left is the breakwall at the entrance to Narooma, and the waves were crashing along it (and almost over it) at about 8-10 feet at a guess. I have to admit there were a couple nervous moments scrambling around these rocks with a tripod, DSLR & camera bag - not so agile with that stuff around heavy seas crashing into jagged rocks. But it was beautiful in its violence...
