Gurbani (Punjabi: ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ) is the term used by Sikhs to refer to any compositions of the Sikh Gurus. Gurbani is composed of two words: 'Gur' meaning 'the Guru's and 'bani' meaning 'word'.
