Bond Falls
Bond Falls actually falls in two different sections. The upper falls (not in this photo) is a series of rushing rapids and cascades falling over rocky ledges and outcroppings.
The main drop of Bond Falls (this photo) is absolutely breathtaking and has been photographed for various commercials and advertisements. The river widens to nearly 80 feet before falling over 50 feet in a series of steplike cascades. The squared-off rock stairs are scattered haphazardly in many different layers, causing the water to bounce off their flat tops in a complicated pattern of white streams.
