Egyptian Cotton

My local yarn haunt is up for sale and while the current owner is hopeful someone will buy the shop is preparing to have to close it out. Because of this a lot of regulars have been in a mad dash to pick up stuff we've been eyeing, myself included.

I finally gave in to temptation and grabbed this skein of mercerized Egyptian cotton from Blue Heron this morning. It is fingering weight and has 1,000 yards on the skein so I am assured that I won't run out of yarn when I use it in a project. The colours are pretty true to colour (hooray, lightsphere) and the colourway is named Deep Copper. Between the purchase of this, my Kidsilk Haze, and my Silk-Cashmere one could say I am entering my red/orange phase.
