Know Thyself

They said a good way of gaining self-knowledge

was to talk to yourself while looking in a mirror,

but without my glasses on I couldn’t see too well

and I wound up thinking I was someone else.

 

Then I met someone, who by the same process,

had convinced themselves they were me

and seeing as I didn’t have my glasses on,

who the hell was I to argue?
