Photoshoot

Regardless of being butcher by civil profession, this sergeant was a nice guy and aimed at my camera only because I insisted. Gun was empty, of course.

This is film, Kodak Tri-X-Pan 400, and still veeeery noisy after slight grain reduction. Camera was Yashica Electro X ITS, 50 mm F1.7.

There is a famous news picture of a soldier standing on a bed of a truck, aiming at the camera, surrounded by a puff of smoke. Picture is titled "The moment I died", referring to the photographer, who was killed by the bullet. I saw the image in a book some 30 years ago, but do not remember who the photo-journalist was, nor have I ever found the image or the story in the net.
